Any deposit for trips are non-refundable and must be paid before the stated dates.

Any full payments made prior to the initial date are refundable in full (less deposit)

Only full payment guarantees a place on a trip. Deposit reserves a place only.

No place is secure until full payment is made. Deposit secures reservation until full payment is made.

All full payments must be made by stated date for each trip as places cannot be guaranteed to be available.

Full payments secure places and deposits on non full payments (deposits) will be returned if maximum places have been taken by full purchase payers.

Refunds are made in the following percentages subject to the following dates:

75% - before first advertised cut off

50% - before second advertised cut off

25% - before third advertised cut off

After third cut off date there are no refunds.

It is the responsibility of each participant to arrange their flight travel to Russia (Barnaul) for Altai trips, Astana/Turkestan for Kazakh trips and UlaanBatur for Mongolian trips. It is each person's responsibility to make sure they are there to meet all departure times and meet with the group at destinations specified of the group.

Living Zen will supply information and details for best flight prices and purchase times for same. Living Zen also supplies full details as to how to apply for relevant visas and what info/documents are needed.

Each participant is responsible for their own insurances for travel, health, cancellation etc. We stress this is a very important part of your organisation and preparation for each trip. Ypu will be advised of how, where and when to make such arrangements.

It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain legal and appropriate tourist visas for entry into Russia and (if applicable) Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Specific Altai region visas are arranged by our agents in Russia.

It is important to be covered in case of cancellation of your trip in the event of sickness etc. For your sake - Very Important!

All insurance for travel, health etc MUST be presented to us no later than 6 weeks before departure. The lack of these may forfeit the right to travel. It is important for legal and entry requirements to Russia, Uzbekistan and/or Mongolia and Kazakhstan. Thus a valid insurance policy in place on booking is essential for your own protection.

All itinerary details are made in good faith by us. We reserve the right to be able to make any changes to this itinerary as we see fit or where caused by outside forces.

Please note, in the very outside chance of war, natural disaster or other events outside our direct control, we cannot be held responsible. We will always make sure that every condition within our abilities are made part of all decisions to progress. If the British Foreign Office advce is to not travel to any destination we may cover then we will advise you and ask you to act accordingly. Under these very unlikely circumstances insurance is invaluable for your peace of mind and recuperating any losses.

It is the responsibility of each participant, and at their own risk, to participate in this trip. There needs to be a sufficient degree of health and fitness to be able to partake in these trip - especially those involving altitude (not to mountaineering degrees) adaptability and trekking.

Because of the profound life enhancing/changes we have observed in past participants during and after such trips to these regions, we advise only those wishing to enhance and positively change their life need apply to go on this trip. The benefits for outlook, character, personal growth and awareness have been profound for those previously undertaking the journey to these regions.
